I have added William Henry Weston to BCC here...

I have looked for him and family in other census and come up with this as a possible...

Is Mary/ Marian the same person living with Joseph Weston in 1871 as Housekeeper

Hi

"Henry Weston" in the 1881 census as far as I'm concerned is definitely William Henry Weston. And "Mary", Marian Grace Cutler''; Mary Ann, his mother, also living with them.

Re Marian Grace Cutler, yes she was his 2nd wife; they married in 1876 (his 1st wife was Elizabeth Butler - see earlier post in this thread).
I also think that this Marian may well be one and the same person as "Marian G Catler" who appears as General Housekeeper in Joseph Weston's household, in the 1871 census - taking into account spelling variations on censuses and especially the fact that both people are recorded as born in Ross, Herefordshire.
Also there's the fact that Joseph Weston was William Henry Weston's uncle (his mother's brother), so it's not unlikely that WHW and Marian would have crossed paths.

Mary Ann Weston, WHW's mother, was as far as I can tell, an unmarried mother - see earlier post by grangers14 about WHW's father being "made up" on his marriage cert. - and one of at least 8 siblings, one of whom was Joseph Weston mentioned above..

I will post more about what I've found out about these siblings when I can get round to it (The main point about them for me is that various info about them has helped me to pin down stuff about WHW).

Sorry, I have been tied up with things, so I have missed some things.
I will get back in the next couple of days.

Added to BCC from 1841 census is William Weston b abt 1839 and Henry Weston b abt 1840.
I think they children are Grand Children.
If everyone agrees I will delete them.

I am going to be busy for the next week or so with family visiting.
So I will sticky this.

I have disconnected William and Henry from Joseph Weston.

I will leave this for a few days before I archive.
