Charles was born in Kingswinford Sept 19 1840 according to an obituary in Pennsylvania.
His parents were John Joseph Cox SR and Sarah Jane Morris.

Mary must be related to Isaiah Pearson somehow because my she is gr granmother to my Uncle Bob and he has several common dna matches on ancestry.com.

Isaiah married a Ms Roden and they christened their daughter Sarah in the same church around Harrisburg PA as Charles and Mary Cox son Josiah Cox; on same page as well cause the children were born about same time in 1869.
