Could she have lived in Middlesbrough?

1939. 37 Studley Road, Middlesbrough
Harry Robinson, (Transcription says Robinson but you can’t see that on image) 11/11/1905, general labourer
Meggie Cook, 25/8/1901, unpaid domestic
Closed record

The age and year you think of her death must be wrong if she was born 1901.

Meggie Little's birth was registered in the Sept Qtr 1913 with her Mother's maiden name Heard. All Meggie's siblings also have the Mother's maiden name as Heard on their birth registrations.

Meggie's siblings are living together in 1939, plus a James H Little who is also a brother by the look of it.

Birth: Sep Qtr 1919 Tynemouth 10b 574
James H Little - Mother: Heard

1939: 16 Double Row, Seaton Valley, Northumberland
Robert Little, 5 Nov 1909, Coal Hewer Putter Below, Single
Lily M Litte, 20 Feb 1907, Unpaid Domestic Duties, Single (marries (?) Carr)
James H Little, 20 Jul 1919, Colliery Sheaver Below, Single
Edith Little, 13 Dec 1920, Unpaid Domestic Duties, Single (marries (?) Jordon)

Grangers found Meggie living here in 1939

1939. 13 Murrays Yard, Bedlingtonshire
Hugh Robertson, 5/5/1909, Coal Hewer
Mary E Robertson, 26/11/1911, Unpaid domestic
Closed Record
Closed Record
Maggie Cook (Little), 30/6/1913, unpaid domestic duties
Closed record

So, going back, the 1911 census is the next census we are able to see. Meggie won't be on this one as she wasn't born until 1913, but here are some of her siblings who were born before 1911 plus Meggie's parents Robert & Mary Little.

1911 Census: Dodds Buildings, Holywell Village, Seaton Delaval Northumberland
Robert Little, Head.Mar, 31, Coal Miner Hewer, Earsdon 1880
Mary Little, Wife, 31, Cramlington 1880
Robert Little, Son, 1, Earsdon 1910
Lily May Little, Dau, 4, Earsdon 1907

As Meggie's Mother's maiden name was Heard, I looked for a marriage of Robert Little & Mary Heard (above in 1911 being the parents of Robert born 1910 and Lily May born 1907) but I couldn't find one. So I thought perhaps Mary Heard was married to someone else before she married Robert Little.

I think Mary Heard's first marriage was to John Harlow.

Marriage: Dec Qtr 1897 Tynemouth 10b 457 (Can't see an actual marriage certificate online)
Mary Ann Heard & John Harlow

John Harlow died and Mary Ann then married Robert Little.

Possible Death: Jun Qtr 1900 Tynemouth 10b 179
John Harlow - Age: 20yrs

Marriage: Jun Qtr 1905 Tynemouth 10b 541 (Can't see an actual marriage certificate online)
Mary Harlow & Robert Little

When Mary married for the 2nd time, her Maiden name will still be entered on birth certificates to her children with Robert Little. It will read something like

Meggie Little - Father: Robert Little - Mother: Mary Little late Harlow formerly Heard.

Personally, I would get the birth certificate of Meggie Little first from the GRO before you go back any further to make sure you have the correct one.

https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/

You have to register which doesn't cost anything, then when you find the birth for Meggie

LITTLE, MEGGIE - Mother's Maiden Name: HEAZEL
GRO Reference: 1913 S Quarter in TYNEMOUTH Volume 10B Page 590

(Mother's Maiden Name has been transcribed wrongly on the GRO web site, it should be HEARD as on FreeBMD web site)

You can order the birth certificate, but you will have to pay £7.00 for a PDF copy, which you will be able to download when it's available.

I'll leave it there for now for you to digest everything, because going further back, Mary Ann Heard belonged to a very large family!!
