I have a James Brookes born 1812/13 RR on my direct Brookes Line

Someone on Ancestry has a large tree with a James Brookes born 1813 RR marrying a Martha Kirby in 1842.
I cannot find marriage and date does not tie up with Census records below as they had dau born in 1838. Other daughters baptisms are shown on RR Parish Registers in 1844.

Jemima Brookes dau 9 born Dudley Worcs.
Maria Brookes dau 5mths. born Dudley Worcs.

Can find marriages of Jemima and Maria and descendants but no Census records of James and Martha after 1851

that might be worth a look up mumbles if you fancy adding it to the look ups
wont get father but witnesses might help

cant see that other marriage in 1842

Nl, I will add for look up but I found 1861 Census which shows Martha as a widow and a Jesse Round as a lodger who could be related to Martha as Round could be Rounds

It looks like Martha could have remarried.

I have done the look up and added to connections no father as too early but there is a Benjamin brookes and Elizabeth Bache as witnesses

Nl, It does not look likely that the two James Brookes's are the same so I will research the two witnesses and see if that helps
