ARC - James Nock circa 1780

Hi all,
i'm back again to be the proverbial pain in the butt !
Been thinking long and hard about this bloomin James Nock I have in my tree. Please correct me if i'm barking up the wrong tree but I have looked at the IGI records again and have come up with two possibilities as to his wifes name. One being Ann Priest and the other being Ann Freeman. The first option has a marriage listed at Lichfield 1803, the latter listed at Halesowen in 1806. I presume that marriages took place at the brides Parish ?
Based on these dates I would guess that they would have been approximately 20 to 25 years of age at time of marriage thus estimating their births around 1780 ish.
Going back to their marriage date, was it common to be married and have children quite soon afterwards ? if so then their first child would have been born soon after 1803 / 1806 respectively. If this is the case then I have done an IGI search for children of James Nock and Ann and come up with the following results : -
1. JOHN NOCK - International Genealogical Index - British Isles
Gender: Male Christening: 16 MAR 1806 Rowley Regis, Stafford, England [Remove]
2. ELIZA NOCK - International Genealogical Index - British Isles
Gender: Female Christening: 18 OCT 1807 Rowley Regis, Stafford, England [Remove]
3. BENJN. NOCK - International Genealogical Index - British Isles
Gender: Male Christening: 12 AUG 1810 Rowley Regis, Stafford, England [Remove]
4. SAML. NOCK - International Genealogical Index - British Isles
Gender: Male Christening: 09 AUG 1807 Rowley Regis, Stafford, England [Remove]
5. WILLM. NOCK - International Genealogical Index - British Isles
Gender: Male Death: 26 OCT 1806 : Christened 1804
Having William as first born this would suggest Ann Priest being the correct wife.
This is of course all assumption and has no bearing on my direct line; however I have searched IGI again with James Nock and Ann as parents but in Worcestershire instead of Staffs and the names I have are as follows (which include my link to Thomas Nock 1823):-
1. ELIZTH. NOCK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Christening: 20 FEB 1820 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England
2. EDWARD NOCK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 19 OCT 1828 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England
3. THOS. NOCK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 06 JUL 1823 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England
4. ANN MARIA NOCK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Female Christening: 26 MAR 1815 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England
5. JAMES NOCK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 12 JUL 1818 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England
6. JOSEPH NOCK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 21 MAY 1826 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England
7. WILLM. NOCK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: 04 NOV 1821 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England
As you can see the earliest birth is Ann Maria in 1815..... This follows on nicely from the previous Rowley Regis births plus the churches are quite close to each other geographically.
If this is possibly correct then I may have an idea where James Nock was from originally which may help in finding out where he's buried etc.
Does this sound plausable to you guys or am I clutching at straws ?
Regards
