So Joseph Stokes Chavasse was his brother.

Samuel was born abt 1795, Brierley Hill.
His wife Sarah Parrish was bapt 4 May 1794, Brierley Hill, dau of Thomas Parrish (1744-1823), & Joanna Gauden (1750-1830). They should be on BCC (I'll post the link!)

Joanna Gauden Parrish (the other witness) was bapt 24 Jan 1802, Brierley Hill, bur 21 July 1883, Wordsley - she never married. Her parents were John Parrish, bapt 5 Apr 1772, Old Swinford, son of the above Thomas Parrish/ Joanna Gauden, and Mary 'Ballos' - I think this is a variant of Bullows/ Bullas but have no other info on her except for marriage to John Parrish, 8 Feb 1790, Halesowen.
