*ARC TBC* john weston 1820-1887

I have an ancestry hint that the abote chappy my 2x great grandfather was in the england and wales criminal register for the crime of manslaughter for which he recieved a months imprisonment on the 10th march 1838 anyone any idea how I can find out if this is true as there are quite a few John Westons out there?

Find My Past has some newspaper articles on it.
It happened in West Bromwich at his works, it was a young boy who sadly died. No other info on address or anything.

Don't think that this is our
John Weston working in a Rolling Mill..Oscar...The trial was in March 1838...our John was living in Bristol in 1838, he married there 4th.Nov.38. He was also
stated as a Chainmaker journeyman in 1841 census. (Still living in Bristol). He didn't return to Dudley (with family) until abt: 1845/6.
