Been sent a pm concerning some reasearch we did on the basterfields so im posting the info to see what else we can find

My name is Damien and I have been hunting down ancestors of a friend of mine. While poking around I found your post from 2008 on Basterfields, which had a brief mention of William Basterfield and Catherine Harris:

I was wondering if you had found any more on that particular branch of Basterfields (or Harris's for that matter). I have WIlliam's parents as Joseph Basterfield and Matilda Jackson (who you've also listed in that post)

For what its worth, the whole family, Joseph, Matilda, William, Catherine and more picked up and came to Australia in 1884 on two seperate ships. There is a park named after some of the family in Melbourne, and there was a large family reunion there a few years back:
