Can anyone find Francis born c1915 probably Lye Stourbridge area please? He is buried in same grave as Horace and Lydia Foley at Lye cemetery and I wonder why. Lydia was a Dimmock and freebmd gives his mother as Green, so where's the connection. He died 2003 so might be a headstone for all 3 but too nasty to go to look at the mo. 1939 reg might say who he's living with. Thanks

Thanks so much for your prompt reply but no wiser as to their relationship. If he was a friend or lodger why would he be buried in their grave? He died many years later 2003 with Horace in 1973 aged 71 and Lydia 1977 aged 73.

By the way what is ARP?

As to why he is buried with them I have no idea sorry.
As to ARP I would say it has something to do with Air raids but hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will be able to answer that corrrectly

Found a grave for Horace Foley and F R Alford name is on it in the name of Reg. There is a fairly new floral tribute so must be someone close to them still alive. Thought I'd got a step nearer to solving who he might be as I found K Alford in the phone book just a stone's throw from cemetery. Phoned him and a woman answered saying there was no Alford there and she's lived there a few years. So his connection to the Foley's is still a mystery.
