Interestingly Hannah is not on the 1871

Wm is born Birmingham Warwickshire

Ok think I have her as a servant in Oldbury.

But need some help on this.
We have a Charles Rose on BCC here

and he is the son of Joseph and Hannah Rose.
they have a dau Susannah Rose too.

Charles has a son a William age 15 on 1841 so the dob could be 1821 not 1826 I am altering that.
I think that is this William
someone on ances has Charles too
need to look the marriage up for William and Ellen see if father is Charles
if it is those kids entered are for another William Rose who married a Martha..maybe

I think this William was married prev

can anyone find him on the 1851 or 1841 ( although think that is him on 1841)
can anyone find his kids from 1st marriage ie Jane and possibly Sarah
as Ellen and William marry in 1856

Looking at the 1861 census it looks like James to me not Jane.

I think he marries a Caroline couple of bapts that are possibles
one for a Sarah in harborne in 1849
one for a James in halesowen in 1843

so maybe looking for a Caroline in 1851 with William

yes I think that is his first marriage
now what a shame my flaming book doesnt cover Clent up to 1841

I need to see the name of his father on both marriages
and on that Martha White one too

any ideas on this one?
I dont think that that William that married martha has father Charles or if he does dont think it is that Charles bro to Susannah
that I think is the Rose/Cutler/Pickerill/Rose link
but then again.... :shock:
