Is anyone able to give the exact location of Gadds Green please? I am involved in a Poppy Project for the men named on the on the St Giles War Memorial. I think it comes under the old Whiteheath Gate Map but as a lot of my history stuff is in the loft at present, I am unable to check.

Does no one know the answer to this?

It was for a WW1 Exhibition and event I have been involved in for the last few months, related to the men whose names are on the Rowley Regis Church War Memorial. As it's only a week away now, everything is completed.

I've made a couple of ceramic poppies at the school (St Michael's), worked alongside the well know Black Country Historian and poet, Dr Brian Dakin, met up with a cousin, who also volunteered to help with the WW1 project. We also join in with the St Giles Cemetery upkeep work parties, where I also met another cousin.

I may live 30 miles away but my ancestral roots keep pulling me back.
