I have a Thomas Garratt. b.1846 Glasgow. Scot. married to Martha Spittle, living at St. Thomas St. Dudley. in my 'tree' according to 1871 census, also living there is Mother in Law, Elizabeth Spittle. Could this be part of the same ext. family. I have checked the Scottish records !!!!! but cannot find a Thomas Garratt reg anywhere around that time. This could tie up the Garratt /Spittle line. Anyone help with this. Sparks.

Must be a connection somewhere ! Thomas Garratt b.1845/46.Glasgow, Scot. d.1893. Dudley. Also had offspring named Jeremiah b.1871...ans Sarah Ann b.1877. and there is the name ASKIN again, used extensively in the Weston / Garratt / Spittle family. The Scottish connection/records are req. :?:
