William Smart b abt 1852

Here is one to tax you all.....my brickwall....
There is on the 1861 census a William Smart with parents William Smart and Selina
living next door to a Samuel Rose b abt 1828 and Mary Ann
Rowley Regis i think @ Tibbetts Gardens
Now this is a thorny one cos Gardener won't agree with me on this
but I think that is our William Rose.
We can't find a birth regis for William Rose...and please don't try cos I have been thru the registrars/ driven em barmy
and Gardener has looked too. There is no birth regis for a William Rose that is ours.....honest!
There is no birth regis or bapt.
And that is unusual as Samuel Rose bapt Spencer Dodson Rose and Harriet Rose at Graingers lane

and our William Rose is not on census with his family in 1861.
So I want to explore this William Smart
suppose I should post in general discussion as this William Smart is born Deeping Lincs
but as it involves RRegis will post here for the moment...Pete can slap my hands

1861 Census-Tibbetts Gardens
Wm Smart 43 b abt 1818 Lincs deeping!
Selina Smart 31
Wm Smart son 8 Lincs deeping
Joseph 1 Northamptonshire.
-1871 Tibbetts gardens
Wm Smart 53
Selina 43
No kids- where are they!!!
-In the 1881 census, next to Spencer Dodson, are these
William Roberts 65, scavenger,Lincolnshire,Mackdepen
Selina ditto 55 Lincolnshire, Longstaff
John ditto 8 gson Lancashire,Wigan
and here is the bapt I think for that Wm Smart
William Roberts 1853 Langtoft Lincs 22nd May.
To a Selina Roberts no father.
So I would like to find more on this William Smart where is he in 1871
coincidentally our Wm is not on the 1861 with his family
and then he is in 1871 with Samuel Rose
but then this William Smart isnt with his
Where did he go?
and who does that John Grandson age 8 belong to?
