Reason I made connection is that Jane Thatcher who married William Gibson ( see William Gibson Thread) was a servant in 1841 in house of Robert Scott

Robert Scott was born Robert Wellbeloved and married Sarah Scott who belonged to Scott family of Stourbridge and Great Barr who were landed gentry and nobility. He changed surname after marriage . He was a Magistrate and Deputy Lieutenant of Worcestershire
They had a son John Addyes Charles Scott who married Malah Homer dau of Jesse Homer and were resident at Ratlinghope where she was known as Lady of the Manor
