My husband has just bought a second hand car from our local dealers in Sheffield with one previous owner. The log book shows the owner as a Mr Round from Netherton, Dudley - my Great Grandfather Nathan Taylor's first wife was Lucretia Round from Rowley Regis and my Great Great Grandfather David Manger married a Hannah Round.

I wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience and whether somewhere down the line I might even be distantly related given the number in the family none of whom I'm in contact with although I do realise there are a lot of Rounds in the area.

No not sure whether to be that cheeky. He lives on ........ I asked my cousin who lives in Nether ton but she doesn't know the street or name

Why don't you contact the dealer and ask for the guys address or no. explain what you do ie family history
and that you maybe connected.
