I can't find anything on him and his family can anyone else?

Yep it was me...
But kind of looked like Mercy and I think Ellen was transcribed as that...
Just seems odd but I have the marriage cert so it is right. Well...

Thank you for looking and I will add the other info you found RF.
Children have left father as blank may be because he had died. Seems odd though, no trace anywhere for Jacob.
