RF did a look- up for me for a marriage of Charity Loach to William Yates in 1867 (which I added to BCC).
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =673830849On that marriage Charity's father was listed as John Loach, (dec) labourer.
I started to add her father John and realized there were several John Loachs already on BCC.
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =989648422 So I did a parent search on Family Search and the following came up:
William Loach c. 1836 d. 1837
Samuel Loach c. 1838 d. 1838
Mary Loach c. 1844
CHARITY Loach c. 1847
Sarah Loach c 1850
All are extracted entries, Kingswinford, Staff. St. Mary's Chapelry, father John Loach & mother Eliza.
I thought these are probably John Loach & Eliza Harvery's children already on BCC.
However they only have a John b. abt 1840 & a Sarah abt 1844, so the others should be on the 1851 census with them, cannot find an Eliza Loach on the 1851 or 1861 census. I did a reverse search for Eliza Harvery and found her mother to be Charity Harvey who marries a Clark a month after Eliza's birth. Added all those to BCC, but have not tied them together yet. I then asked RF to do a look-up on Eliza Harvey marriage to John Loach 8 Jun 1835 thinking maybe one of the witness would be a sibling of Eliza. The witnesses were another JOHN LOACH & Mary Jane Wasden.
Can anyone find an Eliza with these children on 1851 or 61 census. She shows up on the 1881 living with son John?

So this is the one you think it is in 1841
1841 Census, Kingswinford, Staff
John Loach M 30 Labourer nbc
Eliza Loach F 25 bc
John Loach M 6 mos. bc
so we need Charity in 1851 or this lot above in 1851 to confirm we can connect up

Yes I looked at the 1851 with John & Mary but couldn't find a marriage for that one either. Also Mary's a lot younger than John. I also had checked out the 1871 census with Eliza Loach age 58, but that would have made Eliza a grandmother at age 31? Could be a mistake on census. I think to be on the safe side I should just add a John Loach with wife Elza Harvey-Clark as Charity's parents. This Eliza had siblings Samuel, Sarah, Charity and William and her mother's name was Charity. I best leave the John Loach & Eliza Harvey married 1835 (on BCC) as is. Maybe make a note on on the one I add as possible duplicate? Do you all think that would be ok??

I am going to add in a note and hyperlink Mary ann
will put on link when I am done
but there is something strange ....as I think that the census that Bc wench has found is John Loach snr...but with a young wife Mary!!
so either Eliza left him....or mistake on census
the green grocer seems to fit and also the kids fit.
but that marriage for sarah loach to a baker why isnt father JOhn loach down as green grocer
do we have a birth regis for me to send for for charity
I am intrigued as to fathers occup on that and mothers actual name
or are we sure it is Eliza Harvey.
but could you add the Charity as mother info pls mary ann to eliza.
also what is the bapt info for Charity re fathers occup....anyone have that pls.

Thanks Jan, I'll tie in Charity's mother with dates & siblings. The look up RF did for Sarah Loach to John baker, I think this is the Sarah Loach already on BCC dau of John & Eliza Harvey, shown b. 1844, he was a labourer. Problem being the 1871 census shows Sarah & John Baker with 2 children 1 yr old & 5 mos. They weren't married until MAY, 1871. This gets even better as there were 5 Eliza Harveys born between 1811 and 1815.
