Mmm, I always thought that Kings Norton historically was within the Black Country but now you've said it Jan, I guess not!
I notice that a few of the Servants were from the likes of Kingswinford, Stourbridge and ? Shropshire but they don't count :roll:

Found this...

Historically, Kings Norton had been part of Worcestershire, but from 1898, it was part of the King's Norton and Northfield urban district until added to Birmingham in 1911 by the Greater Birmingham Act
