I've been using FMP for the last 5 years....especially the 'Marriages & Divorces' section.
I have found hundreds of marriages but have yet to find a ;Divorce' am I not using the
site correctly or have I missed something ????

I dont use findmypast. Does it cover the years and areas you are looking for?
National archives have some, I am sure...
May be someone who uses it will be more help?

Just tried searching for a member of my family who I know was married twice, found both his marriages but not his divorce!
Seeing as he is still living, as are his first wife and daughter from this marriage, it's highly unlikely that he's a bigamist, especially as he would have had to show his divorce papers before his second marriage.
My sisters divorce isn't there either, although in searching for her divorce I did come across divorces from the USA, for people with the same name (again can find both her marriages).

From FMP "Divorce Index
Discover if your ancestor brought a suit forward in the Court of Divorce and Matrimonial Causes between 1858 and 1903. This index may reveal when your ancestor made their petition to the court as well as the name(s) of the individual(s) the case was brought against."
The National Archives has more "Between 1858 and 1927 almost all divorce files survive. Between 1928 and 1937, the 80% of suits that were filed in the Central Registry are in J 77. The 20% of suits that were filed in the new district registries were destroyed (they are not indexed by J 78). After 1938, very few survive
Many files contain marriage certificates. Later files (after 1938) may contain photographs."
other than those 1858-1903 records, FMP seems to have only America divorces for Texas, Ohio and Connecticut.
