When you put a pen on paper and draw a line instead of putting letters ie Father ------------------- Occupation-------------------

I just give up on the line through :roll: just say it was blank for father and occupation on parish register at Smethwick Archives :lol: people did that either if dad wasn`t known or sometimes if died :wink:
