there is a bapt for parents Joseph and Ann but not sure on that one

Hi FS, your Buffery's were Baptists, they are in my Cradley Baptist Book.

Joseph Buffery Cradley bapt 28.7.1798. Also an Elizabeth same date. Think they were baptised as adults no parents names, but there is a Joseph and Elizabeth having children in that time frame.

Burial for an Elizabeth Buffery aged 50 27.12.1818

Joseph and Elizabeth are listed as Members in 1798

Copy of a letter signed by Joseph Buffery Trustee no date on letter.

In 1783 there was a Noah Buffery Listed as Member No 50 from Cradley. I should think he must have been Joseph's father, no more listings for him. The only other Buffery's are a Samuel and Eliza, they were having children a bit later than Joseph and Elizabeth, Samuel could have been a younger brother to Joseph. Can find more details if you need them. Have you checked the Vicar's Notebook? Best Wishes from Linell.

Thanks everyone I have put the base notes on as not too sure he married Elizabeth
so added the 1851 census which confirms Josephs occup as a bladeforger which tallies with marriage info of son

Dont want to put any more on without more facts
so think we should leave this one as that for now

so archiving anyone wishes to run with it we can bring it back

but there is an Elizabeth married to Joseph

so is Elizabeth the mother of Joseph /James and Rosannah
cant see a bapt
