This James Mills
http://www.bcconnections.tribalpages.co ... =966419407

I have added William Mills who married Sarah Dickinson as a son but he could be a grandson as something does not quite tie up between Census Records and St. Giles Baptism records

Census :-
1841 Census Yew Tree Rowley Regis Dudley Staffs.
James Mills 60 Hinge Maker
Mary Mills 60
Maria Mills 20
William Mills 20 Butcher
William Mills 13

1851 Census Yew Tree Lane Rowley Regis Dudley Staffs.

Joseph Mills son 30 (m) Butcher
Isaac Fellows inmate 34 Labourer born Dudley Worcs.
Maria Fellows wife 33

Mary Fellows dau 7mths.
Rest born Rowley Regis Staffs.

1861 Census Stafford Street Dudley Worcs.
Mary Mills Head 79 (wid)
Mary Fellows niece 9 Scholar
Catherine Fellows niece 8 Scholar
John Charles Fellows grd.son 4 Scholar
All born Rowley Regis Staffs.

note Fellows child Mary shown as niece in 1861 but is son of James and Mary Mills dau Maria in 1851 and John Charles Fellows shown as grd.son

Cannot find Isaac Fellows and Maria ( nee Mills ) after 1851

Baptisms St. Giles
1813 James son of James and Mary Mills Village Butcher
1815 Mary Mills dau of James and Mary Mills Rowley Regis Butcher
1819 William son of James and Mary Mills Yew Tree Butcher
1819 Joseph son of James and Mary Mills Yew Tree Butcher
1819 Maria dau of James and Mary Mills Yew Tree Butcher

Found a William Mills The Yew Tree died RR 6/5/1845 aged 25 which ties up with one William on 1841 Census

It is possible that he is William Mills aged 20 on 1841 Census and other William aged 13 is one who married Sarah Dickinson who is possibly son of James born 1813

Blimey that is complicated mumbles

James is a hingemaker not a butcher in 1841
was he prev a butcher then?

do you want to brickwall this

what about those bapts can those be added in notes to any on bcc save wasting them.

so you think James son b 1813 maybe is father to wm b 1829? :?
