Am working through the Hall family thread. Don't have access to the 1841 Census, have this information here, which needs confirming, was sent to me by a Hall Descendant:-


1841 Census Horse pool Row, Quinton (3 doors away from his father James)

Head John Hall age 28 Nail forger
Ann Hall age 40
Jonah Hyde age 80 ind
William Southall age 25 nailer
Jane Southall age 20
Susannah Southall age 8

Apparently John Hall's father James, wife Elizabeth or Betty are living 3 doors away, could someone please post full details. There is also a Hyde connection, think John aged 28 Married a Ann Hyde, any Hyde's living near by? Many thanks Linell.

There are no more Hydes other than Jonah Hyde age 80 ind in your post

Yes that is them thanks San. Is the info for John aged 28 and Ann aged 40 correct San, would you mind checking for me please? I need to know if Ann is really 40. I was sent that Census entry by a descendant, not been able to check it myself.

Yes I had to look twice, just double checked Lin and def John age 28 and Ann 40 (both born in county)
