I'm trying to find the marriage of a henry Griffith's, b c1795 Lichfield, who married a 'Sarah' of princess or princes, end Tipton....there first child was b Lichfield 1830....
Anyone??

Yes.... U found the right family there and yes henry does have a couple of surname variations, the next generations become proper 'Griffiths' only surnames

The only certain way to find Sarah maiden name would be to buy the certificate of one of her children.
As well as the marriage Jimmy added there is also one in Birmingham?

Nice to see you again Jo... and yup thats the christening I have for him... so.. it seems right cos the names steadilly changing towards griffiths too huh lol
And Henrys a widower too? grrr I have to find another wife for him as well? (I dont like My family!!LOL)

You would be best get a birth certificate for one of the children to find mothers maiden name first. Then look into the probable marriage I think.
