The dates and names match so may be the same person. The first tribal pages link is the one that I use when looking up my Billingham ancestory - had not checked the other one as only found Sophia's father's name on Sunday. I was speaking to my father's cousin (Martha Willetts nee Billingham's son) earlier this week - he has little information on Sophia but believes her family may not have been from Birmingham itself.

I do not have a marriage date for Martha but she did marry a Herbert Willetts so think it may well be correct - I may be able to ask her son if he is well enough to talk. I notice Herbert's mother's surname is Dingley and I have photos of a Clara Dingley and a Mary Dingley in Nathan Taylor's leather photo album so wonder if there is a connection given how near to each other all my relatives seem to have lived - had the photos on my list of mysteries to sort so again I may try asking my dad's cousin if I can.

By the way Frodo, you say "I notice Herbert's mother's surname is Dingley" What evidence do you have?

No evidence at the moment - just comparing the 2 Black Country Connections Herbert Willetts and recognised a surname that tied in with the photo album - have never really talked much about the Willetts side of the family with my dad's cousin - all my paperwork is on the Taylor side - I just have a few photos of the Billinghams.
