I've been trying to find the father John Thomas Jones on the census's but to no avail.

Thanks Jimmy that could well be him.Born Oldbury and probably working for Clayton's boat yard.The name Cresswell on the same census list is also an Oldbury boating name.John Thomas Jones the father of Elizabeth Hannah Jones born 1913 also had younger girls Mary Jane and Violett.

That's her Jim. Elizabeth Hannah Jones married Salt.Born 1912. I've found him,John Thomas Jones on the 1891 and 1901 census. Do we do look ups at Dudley Register Office? Or has it always got to be a church? Regarding his marriage to Mary Jane Millington.

I cant find a birth for Elizabeth that match's a marriage to a Millington, you might need to see if you can get her birth cert to see who mother was.
