Does anyone know where you can buy oat groats in the Black Country/West Midlands/Worcester areas for Groaty Puddin's.

They're available on line but if you want to buy locally you could try asking at independent wholefood shops, Holland & Barrett don't carry them.

Just as I thought! no one knows other than the online option which seems a bit pricey on postage making it a non starter
I realized only just recently that I hadn't had groaty puddin' since by childhood, so I suppose that's it then.

Any Pet shop will sell groats (if they have the demand) no posh food sites years ago

Most foods sold by pet shops are probably safe, a family friend was a salesman for Spillers and they had to sample the dog & cat foods as part of their training, but the differences in standards between the production of animal feeds and those for human consumption are quite large.
