Thinking caps on.

Some years ago, probably in the 1960s, there was a series on the telly called something like World at War, not the one at the moment narrated by Sir Laurence Olivier. My Dad used to watch it, but me and Ken have been trying to remember the name of the person who introduced it and we just can't remember. Can anybody else remember to put us out of our misery. Can't even find it on google. :o

Thanks pete and gardener for your replies. I still don't think it's either of these that I'm thinking about, but thanks anyway.

It used to start with a flame coming up on the front title. I asked a friend if he could remember and he said "That was Bonanza" :roll:
