I’ve entered this burial on FreeREG and wanted to do some research on him.

BURIAL: CHRIST CHURCH, QUARRY BANK
Albert Cox – 15 New Street, Quarry Bank – 11 Jul 1917 – 36yrs – From 4th Northern General Hospital, Lincoln – Military Funeral

RF has very kindly done a marriage look up for me:-

25 Dec 1904 Christ Church Quarry Bank
Albert COX, 23, B, Boot Maker, Quarry Bank, Father: Emanuel Cox, Boot Maker
Edith DUNN, 22, S, Quarry Bank, Father: Harman Dunn, Chain Maker
After Banns Both Signed
Wit; Thomas Edgar Dunn / Mercy Amy Stringer

I’m pretty sure this is Albert Cox on BCC

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... Cox-Family

I can’t find anything on Edith DUNN’s father HARMAN DUNN, but think it could be SAMUEL DUNN who married Lenora BARNSLEY here on BCC

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/fa ... unn-Family

There are pages and pages on Ancestry of Albert Cox’s military service which I have. I already have Albert and Edith on the 1911 census.
It looks as though Edith (DUNN) COX goes on to marry William POOLE in 1918 at Methodist Church, New Street, Quarry Bank after the death of Albert Cox. Will put in a request for a look up on this.

Do you think I can connect Edith DUNN to Samuel DUNN and Lenora BARNSLEY with a note regarding her father’s name?

Oops! Sorry NL thought I had posted in this section. Thanks for connecting.

Thanks also Gardener for the extra info, much obliged.

Can this be left open please while I get all the info onto BCC, then I'll put completed when I've finished.
