Ok I have done the look up on this and it is the same Mary Stokes as on the 1891 census living with Reuben Hackett
I will insert details shortly. and the link

So on the 1891 she is a niece to Reuben he is b 1833
Mary Stokes is b 1867 Halesowen
now her father is according to the marriage doc a John Stokes deceased by 1895.
Mary marries a Charles Rudge
Reubens mother is a Lucy Rudge.

So my questions are...

Where is Mary Stokes on the 1881 and 1871?
and
how does Rueben Hackett link to Mary Stokes if she is his niece
That must mean that one of Ruebens sisters marries a John Stokes

now the only marriage I could see for a John Stokes to a Hackett is in 1849 All Saints Sedgley
so I looked it up
and she is a widow and her father is a John Lathe so cant be sister to Reuben!

need the name of Mary Stokes mother
need em on census......

and here is Charles Rudge who Mary Stokes married and it shows his parents as Richard Rudge and Matilda Hackett

I think the name Charles is significant and I wonder if Lucy Rudge b 1795 and Charles Rudge b 1804 are bro and sis
