Who watched Gunpowder 5/11: The Greatest terror Plot last night? I thought it was really interesting with local connections.

 No Rob, we didn't see it. We went to our Quiz Night and we won again!! One of the question rounds was on Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot and we only got one question wrong out of 10.

Very local connections
Taken along the cut by Howard Smith (I remember Blackheath and Rowley Regis)

They are Rob, it's the politicians that aren't bright. Half of our quiz team are Scottish and they're pretty brainy.

That reminds me of something about the Irish. One of our Scottish friends used to work in the truckers bar on the P & O ferries from Stranraer to Ireland. Irish trucker asked for a pizza, so our friend said "Do you want that sliced into 6 or 8 pieces" reply was "Oh 6 pieces, I won't be able to eat 8"

Unbeknowns to me, Ken had recorded this programme. Watched it the other night and found it very interesting as well Rob. Wonder how things would have panned out if they had succeeded.
