I'd very much like to get in touch with anybody who is related to, or researching the familes of, Charles Harding BUXTON (1861 Pimlico - 1937 Echuca, Vic) or his wife Kate 'Kit" STAPLES (1857 Lewisham - 1942 Rochester, Vic, Australia); married in Lewisham RD in Q4 1890.
From 1911 - 1921, Charles and Kate lived at 28 Jutland Road, Catford. Charles was a Window Cleaner.
Charles and Kate migrated from London on 10 March 1921 on "Berrima", bound for Melbourne, Vic, Australia. They settled in Rochester (between Bendigo & Echuca).
They had a single daughter, Vega Mary Kate BUXTON (b 8 Jul 1894 Lewisham) who married Walter E WATSON, Q3 1919, Lewisham RD.
Vega M K BUXTON was admitted to Plassy Road School, Lewisham in 1902.
Kate 'Kit" STAPLES parents were Aaron STAPLES (of Lewisham, London) & Mary Ann WARNER (Broomfield, Esx)
Charles Harding BUXTON parents were Charles STAPLES & Ann SMITH of Chelsfield, Kent.
