I can only see one Benjamin and one Caroline so it looks as though Caroline remarried under her maiden name. Is that possible?

i would agree either john died or more likley he left so no divorce option, so reverted back to her maiden name and remarried

Who was the witness, Caroline Evans.

Isn't it just the same Caroline? First Sarah Darby and Henry Gore witness Caroline Darby marrying John Evans, then Caroline (now Evans) witnesses Sarah and Henry marrying.
