Got a bit of a dilema on my hands :?

I have found this marriage in 1919

GRIFFITHS John GRIFFITHS Mary A Dudley Register Office Dudley Register Office DRO/042/179

Now, I know that we have a John (Jack) Griffiths who married his cousin Cissie Griffiths around 1918. The above is the only Griffiths/Griffiths marriage record I can find around that time, but the girl is Mary A, not Cissie.

I'm wondering if Cissie is a nickname/family name and not her given name. :?

Posting a lookup for this too. :-)

John was born 1889 in Cradley Heath, but don't know about Cissie

From what I know they lived in or around Cradley Heath.

Have no idea who their kids are, or even if they had kids. :?

No worries NL.. that's what I thought it would come to and have just told MickC the same. Maybe he'll order the cert seeing as how he's in England.

I'd do it if I didn't have to pay some ridiculous amount for an International Cheque :(

Ta muchly NL... will look into that.

Have mentioned this record to MickC and he tells me his son is into family research in a big way and has been getting certs from Dudley, so he is going to ask him about getting this one. So, hopefully we will know if these are the people I'm looking for soon. :-)
