I always thought that this John Williams b.1800 was the John Williams who married Sarah Wood and then Mary Greaves but obviously not if his parents are Thomas and Jane.

True Jan.Not about me having plenty of money but the fact we need that marriage certificate of John Williams and Mary Greaves.
So many people on Ancestry are saying John Williams son of John Williams and Sarah Rose is the same one as the one who married Sarah Wood and Mary Greaves but none of them seem to have checked the marriage certificate.

As its a registry marriage not a church, the only way forward is to buy the marriage cert Rob.

George, son in law. 9,

The John Williams in 1841 is not the same as the one in 1851. The John Williams in Lapal is the brother of George Lloyd Williams. The one in Lilleshall is a different one.
Can someone try to find John Williams born Halesowen on the 1841 census?

but Jane not with them in 1841....

but at least this rules out emma and George......so I still think we have correct one on bcc.

so what you saying Grangers.....that this John nailer with wife Ann is father of Jane on bcc?
