BCC Do

Just to let you know I am sadly not able to go to the BCC Do
I was so looking forward to it
My daughter is due her baby that day so I was just waiting to see what happens...
I have just found my son is coming home that day too. He is working in China and I havent seen him for a year.
So the Do will be out for me.
I'm sure you will have a great time and I hope you all enjoy yourselves. I will be thinking of you all.
Wonder if they have wifi? So I can peek in time willing?

She ,NL,doesn't move with the times Pete.She won't even come on Facebook.Stuck in the past i'm afraid.Believes her own publicity if you ask me.Not that you would ask me would you Pete?

I dont bother with facebook as well although im a member think its a load of twaddle and can put yourself out of work with it and loose future employment too a lot of companies now actively search facebook for youre comments

Correction Rob, they were flesh coloured!
I do like face book mind, a great way to stay in touch with people.
I doubt employers will waste time looking on there to be honest, if your privacy is just set at friends they cant see. We are all just normal (or odd may be) but just people.

Well said Jo.We have Our Den in our group and the local history discussions are great and the photographs are brilliant that people are digging out of their attics.
Can't seem to shake that image Jo !!!

Sorry to hear that you won't be coming Jo - I was looking forward to seeing you. Maybe we can set up a "girlie" night some time.
Just saying - I love facebook - I only have a few "select" friends, the rest are rellies. I set my security so that I only share with "friends". I keep in touch with relatives all over the world and see photos that I wouldn't normally get to see. It is totally dependent on how you want to use it, so it is as good or as bad as you want it to be. If it's a load of twaddle, then you are able to delete the "friends" who are making it so.
I am in a couple of local history groups which are so useful, and as I am only a group member, nobody else on the group can look at my profile.
