I'm trying to find out more about The family of John Weston below;

John Weston was born on 30 Aug 1818 in Gosty Hill, Rowley Regis, Staffordshire, England as the fourth child of Matthew Weston and Rebekah Willetts. He had eight siblings, namely: Selina, Joseph, Elisha, Elizabeth, Matthew, Eleanor, Rebecca, and Mary.

When he was 22, He married Mary Ann Bayliss, daughter of Sarah Bayliss, on 20th.April 1840 in .St.Thomas, Dudley (Marriage: Looked up RF: 20th.April 1840 .St.Thomas, Dudley. John WESSON(X)OFA bach: Nailer,Gorsty Hill.R.R. father: Matthew Wesson(Nailer). Mary Ann BAYLISS(X)min: spin: High St.Halesowen. father: No further Info: Witns: Mary Ann Dutton(X)/Joseph Tib). . Info from BBC

Mary died sometime before Dec 1848
When he was 30, He married Mary Simmons, daughter of James Simmons and Clara Ferraby, on 25th December 1848 in Broughton.

John Weston lived in Cheadle, Staffordshire, England in 1841. (I found a John and Mary on the census but not 100% it the right people)

From at least 1848 until his death he lived in Broughton, Lincolnshire and ran a business as a Blacksmith
He died on 07 Dec 1902 in Broughton (Age: 84).

John Weston and Mary Simons had the following children:

Mary Elizabeth Weston was born in Apr 1851 in Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom.
Clara Weston was born in Sep 1849. She died on 21 Sep 1849 in Broughton, Lincolnshire, England (St Marys).
James Mathew Weston was born in 1850. He died on 24th Jan 1851 in Brigg Foot (St Marys, Broughton).
Thomas C. Weston was born in 1852 in Gretton, Northamptonshire, England. He died in Jan 1898 in West Ham, Essex. He married Ellen Cross in Jul 1873 in 7a 1180 Glandford, Brgg.

I would like to find out more about Mary Ann Bayliss, where and when she died. Did they have any children from first marriage?

Also anything about Johns Parents or siblings, I have info from Ancestry but personal stories would be great to hear.
Are there any photos of the family ?
What Beer House did his Father Mathew run, is it still there?
What Brought John to Lincolnshire?

Any and all info most welcome, have a few tales to share about his Lincolnshire Descendants too

MM that 1841 is odd isnt it......he is a farmer on that one.....so might not be our John Weston.

Do you have the actual certifs MM for the children.....I couldn't see any bapts that fitted.

Clara and James ? do you have the certifs on those .....with mother as prev simmons so I can add to Bcc
as need proof as not on census

Mary Elizabeth b 1851 isnt on 1861....do you know where she was in 1861 MM

is she on 1871?

There is that death in Leek for a Mary Ann Weston.............you would need certif to check.

Not sure if you around MM

Don't think we can do much more with this one without some certifs for Mary Ann.

Will move this now to Brickwalls.
Let me know on the children question I had and then I can add to Bcc.
