There seems to be 2 records of service for Thomas. His sister Mary Jane Wharton is as next of kin.
One medical statement says,
Date of Origin of Disability 9.12.18
? (Belgium)
Reported 10.12.18 with pains all over especially? Head back and legs

Fixation of 2nd Phalangeal joint middle finger right hand. Joint enlarged and fixed

Thomas states Fixation of joint of index finger due to poisoning ? from the torque? Of the buckle of harness having? Run into flesh of finger on 16.6.17
