Confused.....if Samuel Harris marries Ellen Hackett has Thomas and Alice as kids

why then is Samuel Harris in next census with a Sarah as wife?

Does Ellen die?

does Samuel remarry?

who does Sarah J Harris belong to? Ellen or Sarah?
