a) Marries his step aunt Eliza Chatwin ( i.e. sister of Caroline Chatwin who marries his father John Taylor)
b) Lives by himself one year after marriage ( as does his father in 1891 ) although two streets away from family who are with her parents
c) changes family surname name to Wilson in 1911 although all children are registered as Taylor and marry as Taylor
d) a lot of facts recorded on Census do not tie up with marriage dates or numbers of children or relationships

Any suggestions as to why change of name ? and who father John Taylor married before Caroline Chatwin who would have been only 16 when she married John Taylor but on 1881 Census ( one year later ) is noted as 24

I have found answer and may with permission of living relative give full explanation but simply
Arthur Taylor and family moved to Barrow in Furness and changed name to Wilson for a few years because Chatwin and Taylor Family fell out over marriage of daughters into Taylor Family and as owner of Chatwins Foundry William Chatwin ensured Taylor family could not get work in Black Country and thus the move to Barrow under assumed name.

Answer from living relative :-

The Chatwin link was very complex as my Great-Grandfather Arthur Wilson Taylor married the bosses daughter Eliza Chatwin, of Chatwin's iron foundry - he then led out a strike against the management who blackballed him and he had to move and he changed his names round so that he could gain work in Barrow in Furness.

To make matters worse his father John Taylor fell in love with Eliza's youngest sister Caroline and got her pregnant before he got a divorce from his first wife - hence the two men where not welcome in the Chatwin house and lived around the corner until the father, their boss calmed down. John and Caroline where reputedly in love for the rest of their lives and lived happily with his children and their children together.

After being black-balled the family moved around and changed their names, dates of birth and everything for a few years while they tried to get work again - my grandmother was Caroline Esther Taylor (Wilson) thought that her own mother Eliza Chatwin never saw her folks again after they ex communicated her.
