The article says
At the age of 23 Charles left his family in Dublin and sailed to the United States on the S.S.Magnet.
At some time, he was employed by the Southern Pacific Lines
Born 1862 -His age fits in with that on the article - Immigration Year: 1885

Am I pushing it now Jimmy, can you find his 1st marriage to Elizabeth? His daughter Elizabeth was born in Ireland abt 1888

Elizabeth married 13 years. arrived in America 1894.
Just noticed that is a Joseph and not Charles
