I’ve just read this article in the February edition of Family Tree Magazine and think it’s a brilliant idea….

“The First World War Centenary Quilt is a commemorative project with an inspired aim – remembering those that died in World War 1 while also helping injured soldiers today…..”

Here’s the link to find out more http://www.spanglefish.com/FirstWorldWarCentenaryQuilt

So come on everybody, hand over your dosh and get those fingers working with a needle and thread rather than typing away on a keyboard.

What a brilliant project Barb, I think some of us on BCC could contribute in some way too?

Thoughts anyone?
