They will never let me into the States now...

...not that I plan on going :-)
Every year they have an English carol service here, the nine readings and carols one. The various Embassies take turns to arrange it and provide refreshments afterwards. I don't always go but try to fit it in if I can. This year it was the USA running the show. A lady titled "Cultural Specialist" did one of the readings, and also took photographs constantly! It annoyed me enough in the harp solo, and by the fifth lesson I was distracted enough to count - NINE photographs of the girl while she read! Why? It wasn't as though she was moving around! And she took pics of the congregation, I'm not very keen on that either. I just sent the Embassy a message on Facebook :(
I would ban all cameras in church if it was left to me. I went to a wedding this autumn and the woman in front of me held her phone out into the aisle the whole time so pretty much all I could see was through her phone. Grrr!

More people should complain we get too complacent about stuff.

I agree about cameras in churches - should be banned during services!

I've always wonder about people who pay lots of money for a concert ticket, and then spend the entire time watching it through their mobile phone as they film it! It's not like the quality will be very good when they play it back, apart from the obvious that their phone is blocking the view for someone else!!

Depends on the number of prayer books in use at any one time!
