I havent added any of that

I am hoping we can work out why Henry Lowe and unmarried is down on census as father of Joseph Poole

I couldn't work that one out either. Looked for a marriage for Henry and a "poole" but there are none. Might just have been a mistake on the part of the enumerator.

no it is correct cos marriage has father as Henry Lowe
will add that tomorrow
so Joseph Poole has father Henry Lowe

It looks like he was illegitimate and that Henry might have been his dad. Possibly his mother died and Henry took over his care
