Hi everyone,

I've managed to trace my Gt Gt Gt Grandparents Abel Homer and Ann Round but I've been unable to trace the parents or any siblings of Ann Round.

The informaton I've been able to research so far:

Abel Homer born abt 1811, St Leonard's church, Bilston, Staffordshire ( I think his parents were Thomas and Rachel).
Ann Round born abt 1811, Dudley Port- Burn-tree area (Tipton), Staffordshire.

Abel and Ann married at All Saint's Church, West Bromwich, Staffordshire on the 11th June 1832.

I'm really interested in tracing Ann's parents and any siblings but I've checked the 1841 census and found lots of families with the Round surname around the Tipton/Dudley area.

Can anyone help me narrow my search.

I'm afraid I've no more wedding information except what I've already given however I've found Abel and Ann on the 1841 census onwards:

Interestingly on the 1841 census I found a Sarah Round born 1821 in County living next door to Abel and family. I've no idea who Hannah and George Lawrence are.

The census writing on the 1851 census is very faded and hard to read but interestingly living next door to Abel and family is a William Homer and family (maybe related).

I was just wondering with the Ebeneezer name and Tipton connection? The trouble is I've found lots of Rounds living in Tipton (may all be related some how to my Ann).

Here's some Marriage that I have gleaned from The All Saints Church, West Bromwich.

1832 June 11
6 Couples were married the same day at the same time, 2 couples left the Church.
Abel HOMER, Bachelor & Ann ROUND.
John COX & Ann NOCK.
Written by Vicar:-This Party left the Church whilst the other married at the same time were registered in the Vestry.
Thus there were no Witnesses signed for these 2 couples.

I have Rounds and they are a nightmare!

Many thanks for all your replies and farside a great find about the marriage information. I took your advice and tried to send an email to that person but her email address is no longer known (her last post was 2001) so I'll try to post a request on the website for any information.

Any ideas if Edward and Elizabeth had anymore children? Maybe Ebeneezer or Edward because I think I've managed to locate Abel Homer's parents, siblings and Edward or Ebeneezer doesn't seem to be connected to the Homer family esp' the name Ebeneezer.
