Forgive my ignorance

but can anyone tell me if Kings Norton is in Staffordshire, I have found a marriage I am searching for, Elizabeth Faulkner & John Johnson 1863 Kings Norton, Elizabeth was born and brought up in Rowley Regis so I am not so sure about it now.
I would appreciate any help with this please.

Kings norton is in Warwickshire
so you would go via birmingham council

Kings Norton was part of Worcestershire until about 1898.

Many thanks for your help I will send an email to Birmingham now giving them all the details, if they don't have it I will try Worcestershire if Kings Norton was part of there up to 1898.
Hopefully I will be lucky at one of them.

Thanks for the link i will keep a copy of it for if I need it again.
I have had a reply from Birmingham today by email and they do not have that particular one they say it will be held at Smethwick and have kindley sent me all the details, I will have to write though because thats the way they like you to apply so will get a letter off tomorrow.

Geographically Kings Norton is about 10 miles away from Rowley Regis.

Thank you for your information , I am still trying to find which register office hold the marriage certificate , just got an email back from Sandwell and they don't have it , they say try Broomsgrove so will email them when I find an email address for them.

Annie why not go via the GRO
can you post the actual vol and ref no as I have a list that birmingham sent me for what is where re B'ham
rather what B'ham have
