Alexander son of Tobias & ? ? Hingley of Cradley Heath Rowley Parish & County of Stafford born April 2nd 1837 & baptized April 6th 1837 by W Bowen

The transcription suggests that the mother is Margaret but I'm not so sure, can anyone work out what her name is?

If it is Tobias & Mary, are these the parents of Mary Ann http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/family-tree/bcconnections/277261/5182/Tobias-Hingley-Family. If of different parentage who were they and what happened to Alexander.

I'd attach an image of the mother's name but I'm getting "Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached."

Thanks, that's an inaccurate transcription too as the last letter of the first name is obviously y, but I can see that the second name may well be Anne.

So it looks like there's another child in Tobias & Mary's family who probably died before 1841.

Alexander Hingley was buried at St Peter's Cradley 9.4.1837 was 5 days old.

Thanks, but I think the baptism record says he was born on the 2nd and he's not on BCC.

So needs adding to Bcc I will do that

they may have just got dates bit wrong

Just noticed that the Baptism date for Samuel Hingley born 1793 is incorrect on BCC. Parish Register for Park Lane Chapel has Samuel son of James and Mary Hingley of Furnace Lane Rowley 29.12.1793.

Tobias is son of James and Mary Hingley of Furnace Lane Rowley 29.10.1795.
