Joseph Scriven d 18 May 1866, Glassmaker, Brockmoor - left a will: son William, also a Glassmaker, was one of the executors.

If the Wombourne marriage is correct then this is probably Maria:
Bapt 30 March 1803, Brierley Hill, Maria d of John Capewell & Elizabeth (from IGI - ODM).

Unfortunately there are three marriages at Kingswinford for a John Capewell and Elizabeth - one in 1795 to Elizabeth Beckley, and two (!!) in 1780, so they might be difficult to sort out.

Joseph Scriven:
Several possible bapts, but think I can sort them out (looked at the Scrivens years ago, as they connect to so many other Brierley Hill families).

All at Brierley Hill:
26 Apr 1802, s of Joseph & Phoebe - this one 'disappears' ( no later records? - wonder if he died young)
28 Oct 1804, s of William & Honor - buried 18 Mar 1810
21 Dec 1806, s of Daniel & Sarah - *think its this one: he and his wife are very consistent with age in later years.
28 Jan 1810, s of Joseph & Mary Anne - this one ended up in West Bromwich, married, with family.

I think it's the 1806 bapt - and from there I have the family going a long way back.
