Anyone watching it?

not sure on the accents..............sound as though they flip into Liverpool accents
some times!

Filmed at the Black Country Living museum I think some of it was.

I enjoyed the first one!

should be called sneaky blighters!

they had some nasty things in their caps
probably why they are called peeky blinders?

Hubby and I watched with interest ,as hubbys great uncle was I suppose a "Peeky Blinker" , but not as bad as the story suggested. He ran a public house with a room upstairs converted into a fighting ring ,and ran a bookies from there , which was illegal at the time ,and had runners . He is well known in that part of Birmingham, and Carl Chin as wrote about him . My husband met him once ,when he was a very old man ,and I am in contact with his grandsons . :-)

I believe Carl's father also ran a bookies. My friend's dad used to be a "runner" for him.
