Hi there

I have been researching my family history for about 3 years now and have found ancestors from Wales, Ireland and England, and have got back as far as the 1680's on one bracnh but still can't pin down my great grandfather who was supposedly born just 10 miles from where I live :roll:

but then with a name of James Smith that is to be expected.

Did that James Smith have any brothers or sisters with odder names you could track instead?

MG at the moment I have not found any brothers or sister for him. I will ask properly in the brick wall section once I have finished going through the local parish registers for the second time.
